L'antropologia medica italiana e la lezione di Tullio Seppilli

The article tries to make a reasoned and commented summary, according to the chronological criterion of issue, of nine monographic dossiers published between 2019 and 2021 in Italian journals in the M-DEA/01 sector. These dossiers contain many of the contributions derived from the reports presented in the seven thematic sections of the Siam Second National Congress entitled «Un’antropologia per capire, per agire, per impegnarsi». La lezione di Tullio Seppilli (Perugia, 14-16 June 2018). The wide varied production of contributions distributed in the nine journals, collected in monographic sections edited by the coordinators of the Congress panels, shows how profound and still extremely alive is the lesson of Tullio Seppilli—a convinced defender of a social, conscious and critical use of anthropology—not only theoretically accepted by many anthropologists, but concretely taken up and acted upon by them in a highly demand- ing research and professional practice.
