The Covid-19 pandemic has dramatically affected the world population in 2020. The lockdown and measures to contain the infection have forced about 1.5 billion people, including parents, children, and adolescents, to stay at home. For adolescents, who are already going through a difficult evolutionary task of transitioning from the childhood to the adult world, the impact of the pandemic in psychophysical and social terms has been considerable. For this reason, our study group proposed an online questionnaire to evaluate the possible consequences of the pandemic among young people in terms of emotional and risky or dysfunctional behavioural reactions. Results observed suggest that many adolescents experienced severe anxiety and fear during the pandemic and, among other difficulties, closure and social isolation increased. For this reasons, educational interventions are needed to strengthen coping strategies and enhance the resources useful for dealing with stressful situations.

Abstract
For this reasons, educational interventions are needed to strengthen coping strategies and enhance the resources useful for dealing with stressful situations.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
