During the last decades, continuous changes within the labor markets made many workers experiencing uncertainty, stress, and apprehen sion about the continuity of their job positions, perceived as threatened. Experience of job insecurity varies by population groups with lower so cioeconomic status workers more exposed to job insecurity. Since very often employed in precarious jobs, migrant workers report higher job insecurity (Liu et al., 2019). The aim of this paper is to study differences in job insecurity for migrant and native workers in EU15. The economet ric analysis employs data from the Sixth European Working Conditions Survey released in 2017. The theoretical hypothesis concerning the as sociation between perceived job insecurity and the status of migrant is tested using a standard ordered probit model. The results show that migrants have a higher probability of perceiving job insecurity.
