Education in sustainability is an urgent goal, which requires everyone, without distinction, to be aware of behaviors and lifestyles based on respect, on the ethics of responsibility, both towards people and towards the environment. Through the transversal teaching of civic education introduced by Law 92/2019, the school can educate current generations in the ethics of responsibility and sustainability. The structuring of a civic education curriculum developed by the teachers of the I.C. “Don Diana” of Casal di Principe offers the starting point for a reflection on respect and protection of the common good that passes through the logic of sustainable development. L’educazione alla sostenibilità è un obiettivo improrogabile, che richiede a tutti, indistintamente, di assumere con consapevolezza dei comportamenti e degli stili di vita imperniati sul rispetto, sull’etica della responsabilità, sia verso le persone, che verso l’ambiente. La scuola attraverso l’insegnamento trasversale dell’educazione civica introdotto dalla Legge 92/2019 può educare le attuali generazioni all’etica della responsabilità e della sostenibilità. La strutturazione di un curricolo di Educazione civica elaborato dai docenti dell’I.C “Don Diana” di Casal di Principe offre lo spunto per una riflessione sul rispetto e sulla tutela del bene comune che passa attraverso la logica dello sviluppo sostenibile.
