The generation of a Distributed SAR (DSAR) image can be achieved by combining, both in amplitude and in phase, a stack of low performance bistatic raw matrixes. The paper addresses the complexity of multi-platform image formation developing a high-fidelity simulation tool for the generation of DSAR products, which is useful for the validation of theoretical performance models and thus for both system/payload design and mission analysis.

Abstract
The generation of a Distributed SAR (DSAR) image can be achieved by combining, both in amplitude and in phase, a stack of low performance bistatic raw matrixes. The paper addresses the complexity of multi-platform image formation developing a high-fidelity simulation tool for the generation of DSAR products, which is useful for the validation of theoretical performance models and thus for both system/payload design and mission analysis.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
