The primary aim of the paper is to analyze immigration flows in Italy at local level. Through a spatial analysis approach we want to identify spatial patterns regarding immigration capacity of Italian municipalities in terms of internal and international migration. We identify different clusters of municipalities that represent an interesting starting point for further and deeper analysis.
