Sulla nozione weberiana di agire zweckrational orientato in modo tecnicamente corretto

The paper focuses on the important Weberian concept of technically (or objectively) correct zweckrational action, which is present in Max Weber’s essays Über einige Kategorien der verstehenden Soziologie (1913) and Der Sinn der “Wertfreiheit” der soziologischen und ökonomischen Wissenschaften (1913/1917). This concept only apparently fades away in the post-war version of Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft, rather, it constitutes a precious point of reference for the concepts of “rational technique” and “formal rationality of economic action” elaborated in the second chapters of this book, dedicated to the fundamental sociological categories of economic action.
