The yellow and blue photoelectric lightcurves -as yet unsolved- of the double lined spectrum binary V470 Cyg (Ebbighausen et al. 1975) have been analyzed by means of the Wilson and Devinney (1971) method. The systeffi turns out to be a detached one, with two almost equal B2-B3 components, which do not eclipse each other because of che very low inclination (~50°). At primary minimum, the bigger and more massive star is in front.
