The V lightcurves observed by Williamon (1974) and by Padalia (1979) of the eclipsing binary EE Aquarii, classified as a ~ Lyrae-type star, have been solved using a minicomputer version of the Wilson and Devinney (1971) method far light curve synthesis. An estimate of the absolute dimensions of the system has been performed, upon assuming far che primary a mass of 1.9 M9 corresponding to ics position on the main sequence. The system results to be composed of an A8V primary and a K3-K4 secondary which fills its lobe.

Abstract
The V lightcurves observed by Williamon (1974) and by Padalia (1979) of the eclipsing binary EE Aquarii, classified as a ~ Lyrae-type star, have been solved using a minicomputer version of the Wilson and Devinney (1971) method far light curve synthesis. An estimate of the absolute dimensions of the system has been performed, upon assuming far che primary a mass of 1.9 M9 corresponding to ics position on the main sequence. The system results to be composed of an A8V primary and a K3-K4 secondary which fills its lobe.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
