Abstract
The Acquedotto Carolino built at the behest of Carlo di Borbone by Luigi Vanvitelli played a decisive role in the development of the new city of Caserta. Along its route almost immediately a series of mills were built. What happened to these buildings that marked the water’s path, almost always hidden, between Benevento and Caserta? This contribution outlines the characteristics of the project of restoration and reuse of the Mulino di Sala, after having analysed its origin and its stratifications.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
