Gestione del rifiuto da demolizione nel progetto di rigenerazione urbana / Management of the C&D waste in the urban regeneration project

The research deals with the reduction of C&D waste, and proposes an innovative methodology for the ex ante evaluation of the material samples to be subjected to the chemical-physical test. The methodology is structured on three steps: 1. knowledge step, oriented to the BIM-based control of the elements of the building system (quantity, material consistency, state of conservation); 2. evaluation step, aimed at designing the material heaps to be subjected to chemical analysis for waste characterization; 3. demolition step, aimed at directing the material flows towards the reuse, recycling or landfill supply chains.
