The investigation aims to reconstruct some aspects of the political-electoral history of Naples between the first and second post-war years, starting from a contextualization of the socio-economic situation that had seen the former capital of the Regno delle due Sicilie live profound transformations between the end of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, thanks above all to public intervention. However, despite an electoral history that proves to be quite eventful and in some ways unpredictable, both in its results and especially in relation to the participation in the vote, the period in question demonstrates a substantial socio-political immobility that cross the entire period in consideration.
