Sporting activity is very useful because it allows young people to gain a greater awareness of their body and above all their mind, inclinations and abilities. The aim of the present research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the functional protocol in a group of gymnasts through a laboratory to rebalance the altered basic functions. The results obtained show a significant improvement in the experimental group in several basic functions, in particular in the Control, Leaving, Assertiveness, Self-Affirmation and Strength Functions. It is possible to state how through using the functional rebalancing workshops the athlete can develop a greater awareness of his physical means and psychic and to pursue a subjective motivation more authentic and above all functional for the purposes of good practice sportswoman.
