In the Italian cultural scenario the educational perspective has always been intertwined between bios and logos, as in the theory of bioeducational sciences in which the nature and culture relationship is shaped as an entanglement of the individual, the knowledge society, and the adaptive system. Adaptation is the keyword for understanding the role played by the logos in the evolution of the human species, both genetic and cultural. There may be similarities between biological and cultural evolution. creates the chances for future education. This is mirrored by the Western tradition of cultural thought, where the biological dimension has been understimated because of the bios and logos dualism. Actually, trends are emerging to re-interpret the bios and logos intertwined development. Contemporary education is designed to support self-organization and the creative potential of individuals through soft skills as cognitive flexibility and adaptability, the abilities to continuously adapt to unfamiliar situa- tions as required by 21st century learning.
