The paper focuses on some marginalia in the Herculaneum Papyri and in particular on the different strategies used by the scribes to insert additions or notes to the main text, with the aim of understanding whether different strategies corresponded to different typologies of intervention and if the scribes used to make an evident distinction among paratextual and non-paratextual elements.
