Quality improvement has become a central tenet of health care. It is no longer the preserve of enthusiastic volunteers but part of the daily routine of all those involved in delivering health care, and has become a statutory obligation in many countries. There are numerous reasons why it is important to improve quality of health care, including enhancing the accountability of health practitioners and managers, resource efficiency, identifying and minimizing medical errors while maximizing the use of effective care and improving outcomes, and aligning care to what users/patients want in addition to what they need [1]. For this reason, the aim of our work is the identification of a tool to evaluate the management and the execution over time of the activities performed by the Technical Department of the Hospitals. All this in order to measure their performance.
