Beyond facing the topic of waste architecture from the point of view of the construction waste management, recycling activities and architectural design practices impacts on the generation of wreckage, it may be useful to think about how to look at the waste stuff, such an unavoidable component of the contemporary landscape. With this short paper we intend to underline some potentialities that the “rejected areas” and “rejected architectures” (the wasted architecture, as it were) embody on both an environmental and formal field.

Abstract
Beyond facing the topic of waste architecture from the point of view of the construction waste management, recycling activities and architectural design practices impacts on the generation of wreckage, it may be useful to think about how to look at the waste stuff, such an unavoidable component of the contemporary landscape. With this short paper we intend to underline some potentialities that the “rejected areas” and “rejected architectures” (the wasted architecture, as it were) embody on both an environmental and formal field.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
