The paper aims to collect a suitable database of pull-out tests related to several types of injected anchors in masonry elements. The collected experimental results are compared with theoretical predictions of pull-out force given by existing formulations and their reliability is discussed. Then, regression analyses have been carried out in order to assess a new design formulation taking into account the main parameters influencing the performance of injected anchors in masonry elements. © 2018 The International Masonry Society (IMS).

Abstract

The paper aims to collect a suitable database of pull-out tests related to several types of injected anchors in masonry elements. The collected experimental results are compared with theoretical predictions of pull-out force given by existing formulations and their reliability is discussed. Then, regression analyses have been carried out in order to assess a new design formulation taking into account the main parameters influencing the performance of injected anchors in masonry elements. © 2018 The International Masonry Society (IMS).
