The present work aims to focus on the instrumental function of the rights of the citizen in relation to the duty of the inner formation or Bildung in the Kantian Jacobinism of Johann Adam Bergk. In particular, the last part of the essay then reconstructs the protection of rights both through the fundamental duties of civil coexistence, the omissive ones of neminem laedere, and also through the active social duties, which aim to control the action of the government.
