A microprocessor-based control system for speed vectorial control of induction motor is presented in the paper. It is based on a predictive control algorithm for the VSI feeding the motor. All control tasks are peformed by a 32-bit microcontroller, while a dedicated one performs the modulation among the possible conduction modes of the inverter. Experimental and simulated results are presented in the paper
