In this paper, a high performancemodulation technique for dual inverter with separate dc sources feeding open-end winding induction motors is proposed. It is based on a optimization algorithm, which carries out the suitable modulation pattern for the dual inverter in order to minimize power losses. In this way, it is possible to optimize the performance, especially for high power applications.
