This article deals with the evolution of the text analysis. The word “text” comes from the past participle of the Latin verb textere, a word with a deep and ancient word structure, which means to weave, to link, and put together a series of elements. The text can be analyzed by content analysis, and there are at least two approaches: qualitative and quantitative. In this article, the main differences have been explained.
