This research focuses on the Nero monetary issues of sesterces with legend DECVRSIO. The study examines their distribution through ancient finds in Herculaneum, comparing data from coin circulation with the observed evidences in Museums. In the preliminary conclusions, the study puts in evidence the considerable role of the Nero coins in the history of antique numismatic collections with reference also to an illuminated manuscript.
