Abstract

The following paper shows the results of an educational learning experience called ‘laboratorio progettuale’, workshops proposed from a decade by teacher of Naples university convinced that direct local design activity is the best way to learn for young designer and that only a week time available could be enough to work strongly and efficiently together producing exceptional results. In the case exposed, the subject of the design exercise of urban regeneration is Baia (the first ‘baia’ in the world) in the Pozzuoli’s Gulf so called from the ancient time for his extraordinary geographic morphology that gave the name at all other similar coastal perceptual situation. The workshop aim at urban regeneration because this could be the way to put in evidence the great heritage of Baia, including ruins also under sea.
