The study Concerns the restoration project of the Guard lighthouse on the tip of Ponza Island, Italy. Only in the last few years the Italian government is taking care of These buildings, both for their great charm and for the evocative context of panoramic frame in which they are. The lighthouse in question was built in 1886 on a sea peak near the Tyrrhenian Sea. The study is supported by historical research, by updated metric and photographic surveys and investigation on materials and construction techniques as result of the analysis of the degradation and restoration work. All these operations were the prelude to the project for surfaces conservation and to structural project proposals, with Particular attention to humidity problems in all its forms. the Architectural object Has Been assigned a tourist connotation in full respect of the lighthouse attitude.
