Abstract
Due to the use of a resource that is, in this particular case, the temporal agreement or what is here defined as an “apparent non-temporal agreement” with respect to oral narrative texts, the organization that the speaker / enunciator plans as a means to achieve given communicative purposes may be seen as a discursive strategy. “Apparent” because, indeed, what seems to break the rules of the classic Consecutio Temporum, actually follows some rules of their own that, when they are not respected, lead to a communicative sanction. In this paper, we will try to show that verbal forms do not always convey purely temporal information, but they are often used to achieve a pragmatic goal, thanks to the implementation of discursive strategies.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
