Newborns at high risk for celiac disease (CD) were recruited in Italy in the context of the PreventCD Study and closely monitored for CD, from 4 months up to a mean age of 8 years at follow-up. The aim of our study was to investigate intestinal T cell reactivity to gliadin at the first clinical and/or serological signs of CD.
