An optimized Near-Field/Far-Field transformation technique for the characterization of aperture antennas in cylindrical geometry is here presented. The approach is based on the one discussed in [4,9]. The basic idea is to reduce the Near-Field/Far-Field transformation to a linear inverse problem, wherein the number and the locations of the measurements points are found as the ones optimizing the behavior of the singular values of the considered linear system.

Abstract
An optimized Near-Field/Far-Field transformation technique for the characterization of aperture antennas in cylindrical geometry is here presented. The approach is based on the one discussed in [4,9]. The basic idea is to reduce the Near-Field/Far-Field transformation to a linear inverse problem, wherein the number and the locations of the measurements points are found as the ones optimizing the behavior of the singular values of the considered linear system.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
