The unconventionality of the CFS structures raised, in recent times, a lot of interest from many national and international companies resulting in the promotion of experimental activity with the main aim of investigating and interpreting the seismic behaviour of these systems. In this framework, an important collaboration between the University of Naples “Federico II” and the Lamieredil S.p.A. company is started in the last years. The main goal of this collaboration is the experimental characterization of global and local seismic response of CFS strap-braced walls. This paper presents the experimental campaign and discusses the main results.

Abstract
