The question of housing for weaker bands of citizens has been interfaced with one of the main needs for social inclusion: the access to pure drinking water. Following a brief introduction on the question of water provision for housing architecture, a study is presented carried out by the author for the Public Company of Water for the Municipality of Naples. The analysis and the investigation upon three case studies of different typologies of dwellings have been shown and some results concerning possible solutions have been drawn, In the end a future possible methodology for saving water, by recycling the various activities’ wastes, is proposed, called “Cascade effect”.
