La complessità del progetto è correlata all’incremento della complessità dei fenomeni e delle interdipendenze nella realtà socioeconomica e del processo edilizio. Fasi ed effetti sono amplificati dal crescente numero di reciproche relazioni. La complessità va inoltre intesa come categoria cognitiva e organizzativa del progetto, mentre nei processi decisionali di fronte alla complessità dei contesti è necessario superare gli approcci di tipo individuale attuando invece sistemi di condivisione delle conoscenze. La rete degli scambi informativi che si configura tra i componenti dei team richiede di essere sostenuta da interazioni che siano anche di natura culturale. Acquistano valore i processi nei quali si costruisce uno sfondo condiviso tra soggetti che partono da punti di vista anche profondamente diversi. In tali contesti diventa essenziale rappresentare conoscenze, applicare evolute modalità comunicative e pianificare azioni sia come singoli operatori che come team. / The complexity of the design phase shows that it is related to the complexity of the phenomena and interdependencies of reality through phases and effects amplified by the increasing number of mutual relations. The complexity should be seen as cognitive and organizational category of the project, to be developed through a recursive approach with multidisciplinary inputs. In the decisional complex processes, is necessary to overcome the approaches with individual decisions instead implementing systems for knowledge sharing, in which the networks of interactive exchanges between the members of the team are supported by cultural interactions. Acquire value processes in which the thought is presented as an interactive tool aimed at the construction of a shared background between persons who can start also from very different points of view. In such contexts, it becomes essential to represent knowledge, to apply advanced methods of communication and to plan actions both as individuals and as a team.
