In the MP3 online database, PBodl. Inv. Gr.bibl.d.2 (P) (III-IV) is described as «grammaire latine»: it consists of two palimpsest fragments from a parchment codex, whose scriptio superior is Theodotion’s tale about Bel and the dragon (Dan. 14, 20-21). The scriptio inferior is a homiletic Greek text dated around III-IV century, plus the ‘supposed’ Latin grammar; the Latin text is still unpublished and there are different opinions concerning the nature of this text: Van Haelst has talked about a Latin grammar, while in a recent Catalogue and edition of the Bodleian papyri the existence of grammatical lines is denied. The direct examination of P.Bodl. I 2 in the Bodleian Library (Oxford) has confirmed the existence of the Latin scriptio inferior of IV A.D.: there is a list of Latin words, some of whom have been partially inflected or given together with prepositions, and they clearly remind the legal lexicon. A whole and commented edition of the Latin scriptio inferior of P.Bodl. I 2 is given in this article.

Abstract
I 2 is given in this article.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
