Revival of tourism in coastal areas of Campania. Strategies and projects.

Abstract. Campania's coast, thanks to its exceptional richness, should be one of the main resources for the regional economy in terms of tourist revenue. Despite its vast potential, what emerges above all is the lack of a unified project from which to derive initiatives, directives and promotions. Particularly now that the tourist offer requires targets and coordination with other policies (environmental, territorial, cultural, educational, transport etc.); it lacks. ultimately, a strong idea to support a new offer for regional tourism. In many places local natural resources have been sacrificed to private interests or to the demands of mass tourism. In these notes we want to confirm strongly the principle of inalienability and to assume, on the contrary, the re-appropriation of coastal systems as a common heritage through work for the recovery of wildness according with the plans of distribution of areas and different levels of protection and reversible installations.
