Data from 847 Italian buffaloes, submitted to interruption of sexual promiscuity during autumn-wintertime, were analyzed over two years. buffaloes in deep anaestrous (118) was randomly submitted to different treatment for the resumption of estrus cycle. The percentage of empty buffaloes at the end of October was lower in treated than in control.
