Buffaloes and wethers were fed "ad libitum" with silage maize stalks and integral soybean flakes. Both the foods was labelled with chromium oxide. For each food were determined: ritention time in reticulo-rumen, ritention time in caeco-colon proximal, time for first appearance of the marker in the feces, time of the marker passage in the total digestive tract.
