The electron capture half life of Be-7 implanted into different metals has been measured with high precision in order to search for a possible dependence of the decay rate on the electron configuration around the Be-7 atoms. In order to reduce systematic errors, the half life in different metals is measured by three laboratories simultaneously using different experimental setups. The measurements and data analysis are in progress, preliminary results are presented.
