In this report we’ll show the results obtained by using NEURON jobs on S.Co.P.E., a general purpose supercomputing infrastructure. We experiment two kinds of jobs: the first type is related to the case of a single neuron CA11, based on a published mathematical model [17]. For this model we use the “multisplit” technique; the second type concerns a neural network model, with a sequantial topology, where the paral- lelization approach chosen consists to distribute all cells of the network between different hosts available.
