For the measurement of radiation diagrams of large antennas near field-far field transformation techniques are widely used. They basically require the knowledge of the near field distribution of the antenna under test over a prescribed scanning surface. We consider how it is possible to correct for the presence of positioning errors in the linear problem. To this end we exploit the properties of field representation by pseudosampling series expansion. We discuss the stability of the transformation procedure accounting for the analytical properties of the fields.
