I valori ematologici e le cellule del sangue di Scyliorhinus stellaris L.: varieta’ di forme e prime osservazioni citochimiche

On the blood taken from the conus arteriosus of eight specimens of Scyliorhynus stellari L.,the following hematological values have been determined: hemoglobin(3.57 g/100 ml;hematocrite(21.57%) ;red cells (128500/mm3);leukocytes (28687/mm3 ) ;MCV (1405 pm3); MCH (310.33 pg) ; MCHC (18.358) . The smears have been stained with May GrUnwald-Giemsa and with the following cytochemical methods: benzidine-peroxidase after lepehne, for Hgb; sudan black B; PAS; alcian blue; sa franine O; toluidine blue ; 11g-bromophenol blue ; fast green for protein rich in arginine and lysine; adenosinetriphosphatase; alkaline phosphatase ; acid phospha tase; aliesterase; peroxidase after Graham-Knoll. The following types of red cells have been described :basophilic erythroblasts(3.14%;O 16.08 pm),acidophilic er! throblasts (9.99%;0 22.74 x 15.8 pm)and mature erythrocytes (28.46 x 18.04 pm). The following types of leukocytes have been described: lymphocytes (46.39B;(ó 11.2 Nm); plasmocytes (2.648;15.7 x 14.05 Nm);monocytes (3.178;18.40 pm);neutrophilic granulocytes type 1(10.918;0 18.71 pm) and type II(1.96%;18.98 pm);eosinophilic granulocytes type I (33.118;0 15.96 x 10.19 pm) and type 11(1.828.0 16.83 pm)and throatbocytes (7165/mm3;15.77 x 9.92 pm). Some blast cells like the hemocytoblasts and lymphoblasts have been described.
