This paper is concerned with the establishment of a standard test HE susceptibility of concrete prestressing high strength steel wires. In this work high strength steel wires produced by two different manufacturers were used as test specimens. Results show that the hydrogen embrittlement mechanism is the same on the steels tested. The HE susceptibility is different.

Abstract
