The devitrification behaviour of specimens with compositions (2−x)Na2O(1+x)CaO·3 SiO2, O≤x≤ 1, was studied. The crystalline phases were identified by X-ray diffraction and the glass transition temperatures were determined by differential thermal analysis. The activation energies for the crystal growth were calculated from the inflection point temperatures detected on the derivation differential thermal analysis curves.
