A measurement of the K-s(0) and Lambda inclusive production rates and momentum spectra in two-and three-jet events is presented. On the basis of about 3.1 million Z decays collected with the L3 detector at LEP, we observe that the production of these particles is well modelled by string fragmentation. Abstract

A measurement of the K-s(0) and Lambda inclusive production rates and momentum spectra in two-and three-jet events is presented. On the basis of about 3.1 million Z decays collected with the L3 detector at LEP, we observe that the production of these particles is well modelled by string fragmentation.
