In this paper we deal with the electromagnetic inverse scattering problem of localizing and of reconstructing the shape of buried voids. We address this problem for the scalar case and a two-dimensional geometry. We perform the reconstruction under a linear model of the electromagnetic scattering and by the Singular Value Decomposition approach.
