A theroretical analysis of the behaviour of an STJ detector in the non equilibrium regime induced by some external radiation has been carried, based on the kinetic equations for both junction electrodes. The analytical expression of the tunnel times and of the non equilibrium current has been obtained. The effect of the backtunneling process on the amount of collected charge is shown.
