We report here experimental results of the response of two Cd0.8Zn0.2Te detectors when irradiated with 511 keV photons transverse to the electric field, in view of their possible use for positron emission tomography. Measurements include charge collection time, coincidence resolution time, electron mobility and lifetime, charge collection efficiency, energy resolution and detection efficiency.

Abstract
We report here experimental results of the response of two Cd0.8Zn0.2Te detectors when irradiated with 511 keV photons transverse to the electric field, in view of their possible use for positron emission tomography. Measurements include charge collection time, coincidence resolution time, electron mobility and lifetime, charge collection efficiency, energy resolution and detection efficiency.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
