La Corte interamericana ed il caso della sparizione delle donne a Ciudad Juare

The ruling by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights on the case Algodonero stated the responsability of the State of Mexico for having failed the duties of protection of human life, personal freedom and dignity enshrined in the Convention. The decision concerning the disappearance and death of three young girls in Ciudad Juarez, addresses the iussue of the preventive and investigative burdens of the Member States of the Convetion, with particular emphasis on the impunity of the crimes. the decision is vedry interesting in terms of the remedial measures imposed on the State of Mexico, and provides n opportunity for a comparison with another international system of protection of fundamental rigths, that of the European Convetion on Human Rights.
