The paper deals with the detection of a signal in additive non-Gaussian cyclostationary noise. The locally optimum noise-synchronized detector is shown to be the locally optimum detector for stationary noise preceeded by a time-varying invertible transformation. To overcome the difficulties of such a detector, two subopimum structures are proposed. The performance of all considered detectors is assessed via computer simulations.

Abstract
The paper deals with the detection of a signal in additive non-Gaussian cyclostationary noise. The locally optimum noise-synchronized detector is shown to be the locally optimum detector for stationary noise preceeded by a time-varying invertible transformation. To overcome the difficulties of such a detector, two subopimum structures are proposed. The performance of all considered detectors is assessed via computer simulations.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
