Uncertainty analysis represents a relevant issue in model application, especially if input parameter estimation is difficult; in the paper two different approaches to uncertainty analysis were applied to TOXI5 water quality model. These approaches have provided a quantitative definition of the effects that the uncertainties about input parameters have on the model results.
