AN INTRODUCTORY NOTE TO THE ITALIAN TRANSLATION OF MAX WEBER'S "NERVI FRAGMENT". The so-called "Nervi fragment" belongs to Weber's Nachlass, kept in the Geheimes Staatsarchiv Preußischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin and published for the first time by Hans Henrik Bruun in 2001. It is a manuscript dating back to the early months of 1903, in which Max Weber discusses in a critical way the notion of "value" and that of "value relation" employed by Rickert with regard to the problem of the concept formation in history. This note introduces the italian translation of the fragment, highlighting its basic themes.
