The aim of this paper is to compare the differences between the structural scantling of the Fiber Rinforced Plastic given by the RINa Rule and the European ISO (International Standard Organization). To that end, the evolution that the Italian agency (RINa: - Italian Naval Register) has sustained during the transit of the publication concerning what was defined “pleasure boats”, to that regarding the unit defined yachts has been analyzed.
